Z7 Hooked Hull. I have been losing MPH and RPM on the 2013 Z7 with 150 Opti ProXs. Motor seems to be running right. I have gone from 55-59mph 2 years ago to 48 mph and only 5000 -5200 rpm loaded with two people and half tank of gas . 0. Jun 6, 2011. #1. Kevin. I have a 2009 Z-7 with a 150 Opti. Because I live at an elevation of 4700 feet above sea level, I have to run a 21 pitch Tempest Plus to get my RPM's to 5400. When I go to lower elevations I run a 23 Tempest Plus to keep the RPM's in that 5300-5450 range.
