Yeah I saw that one claiming to be able to write amiibos on serveral online tuts, turns out the app store gives it less than a 1 star review, and the tuts online are either fake or are some kid of "ad" for nxp. The NFC Tools app I mentioned is the only one in the app store so far that seems to be able to read amiibo format.

No and no. Sadly. You can't emulate an amiibo (atleast not on a not-rooted Android Phone, even if it was rooted sb would still need to write an app for that). To your second point: You sadly can't overwrite existing amiibo, too. They are locked. Yes, you do need the stickers. It’s the exact same. Amiibos are just figures with a NFC chip inside (at the bottom). Amiibo spoofing is just using the same NFC chips that amiibos use by themselves. The switch doesn't check for authenticity and they aren't complicated code wise. So they are safe and not bannable. Android and, I believe, iOS only implemented the broadcast for payment cards. The hardware can (likely) support other technologies, but the firmware and drivers simply aren't there to facilitate it. None of this is really relevant, though, because the fact remains that the app is for payment cards and that can't be exploited for Amiibo.Without Homebrew, you could restore JoyConDroid compatibility with a Switch with a rooted Android phone. Even then, back then the Amiibo spoofing only worked on some Samsung devices.
