People hype the Bergara branded barrel but they all come out of the same factory in Bergara Spain. The Optima LR is a 28" which is plenty long.

Parts of the trigger assembly are plastic. The breech plug is no where near as good as the CVA BH209 plug and seals worse that either QRBP. Upper end CVAs have adjustable triggers too. To me the difference in barrel length is a non-issue. For a few years, and many deers, i have been carrying a 23" barrel. It works good. However, in my opinion, the opening/closing latch on the Optima V2 is a way more better than the latch on the Wolf.
