I know that if the S/N starts with 13xxxxx, then the pistol was made in 2013 and if the S/N starts with 14xxxxx, then the pistol was made in 2014. Dan Wesson Specialist 45.The only thing I know about it is that it is quite old, but the serial number is not like other Dan Wesson's. After comparing it to a few photos of revolvers being sold on GunBroker, I just had to ask here if anyone knows more about the serial number. It is SD015488, with Monson, Mass. In July 1985 it ended with AHT which is close to end of AH series or close to AI, next would be AJ series, then in November they started with ALA.
