All other audio sources seemed to be fine though. Make sure all audio selected in windows is the correct item and you can even go into the audio sounds in windows to make sure the default playback and recording are the right line items. Check your audio settings. If you have surround sound enabled but don't actually have a surround speaker set up, the game tries to put the voice acting channel to a speaker that doesn't exist.
