Ford escape throttle body recall.
Bought a new throttle body, $167 from Ford Parts. Took less than 10 minutes to install. Requires only a screwdriver and a 5/16 socket and ratchet. I did not do as Ford suggested and have it plugged into their computer. Disconnect the battery first and I have had no problems. If a recall is issued Ford will refund the cost of the part.
