I have reloaded 7/8 and 9/8 loads and they work fine with same components and powders, but I favor the 1 oz, 8’s, 7-1/2 or duplex loads, 50/50 mix. I have also found E3 and Promo excellent powders when I could not get my favorite Hodgdon powders.

If you compare the data of both Tightwad and RamShot Competition powders you will find out RamShot powder takes more grs of powder.

I usually load with either WST or Titewad for 12 ga. 7/8, 1 or 1 1/8 oz. target loads in AA hulls with AA clone wads. To be fair, I've only loaded one box of 1 oz. target shells with the Ramshot Competition powder. It metered well with consistent charge weights. I shot a round of Sporting Clays with it alongside a box loaded with Titewad.Faster powder, lighter bullet, slow powder, heavy bullet. N320 is great for 180gr. N340 works for the 200. I know a couple of people who tried N310 with the 165, but N310 is risky. I just bought a 1lb of Solo 1000, it's burn rate is very close to N320, it's also $17/lb.
