For context, prior to the "old blood" update, introducing the Parazon and mercy-kills, mainly for Kuva Liches and their thralls, melee finishers were executed on melee-attack while in range of a target in a finisher …An example, 2400 Affinity is given to all current equipment without being divided evenly. Warframes, all weapons, and Companions (if possible their weapons). Normally a weapon kill would split 50% of the Affinity to the weapon and the Warframe. An ability kill would just transfer all the Affinity to your Warframe.When you go upto an enemy from behind, you get the option to stealth kill. This triggers an animation where you stab the enemy or do some sort of finisher. There are only two ways in which you can trigger some sort of finisher animation to kill or seriously damage the enemy. One is the stealth kill which I just mentioned.Why doesn´t Warframe include gun finishers similiar to ground finishers inflicted upon a downed enemy with a melee weapon.
