Bank Angle Sensor (BAS) is just a sensor that is triggered when a pre-determined lean angle is reached. At that point Harley uses it to disable the ignition. Harley also uses a more advanced sensor on later scooters as an input for turn signal cancelation. In Smitty's world there is a BAC Kit that is part of a side car install on later scooters.
Actually, those codes (p2121 & p2271) don't exist. They must be B2121 and B2271, both of which are BCM codes. B2121 is "starter output open and B2271 is "BCM voltage low". You either have a bad BCM or a wiring problem between the BCM and the starter.
