The biggest drawback with Masori is that Bowfa exists. When using Bowfa together with crystal armor, it's really only second to Tbow. So for most late-game content, you're going to be better off using Bowfa + Crystal than Masori + any weapon that isn't Tbow (exceptions may apply with niche weapons like DHCB).

With dragon the BP with full armadyl barely beats bowfa with 0.03 more dps. Use it to train magic. Alch it. Good for tbowless inferno , gwd , slayer , raids, zulrah. Every single gwd boss, zulrah, cox, TOA, general slayer where you don't take damage if you aren't 99 range.
