Also, have the smith check out the PTR chamber. Some might be a little tight lately for some ammo types.Try to find location of the serial number. Pull the handgaurd and look at the barrel in front of the trunnion for the markings to see what parts kit it was built from. Also check the bolt head and bolt carrier for their markings.
