No offense to Springfield owners, but i don’t think this is much of a competition. Glock absolutely dunks on the XD. I’ve shot the XD plenty of times and it’s by no means a bad gun, but I don’t think I would ever buy one when a G17/19 is only an extra $100. I prefer the Glock 19 over the XD9 but again both are good weapons. If this gun is primarily for her then go with what she feels more comfortable with. Both guns will get the job done.
