The one file is the config file. It will always be changed from default if you start the loader. If this is all you're getting then the file validation completed successfully. Try the Verify Cache on other games you have, and you'll see the same thing: 1 file failed to validate. Either that 1 file cannot be fixed by validation, or it is a file meant to always show up as failing validation. Regardless of the details, 1 file failing to validate is a GOOD thing until proven otherwise. #24.

The "one file failed to validate and will be reacquired" is normal. It happens to me too and the game works fine for me. That one file is just a save file or something that wont be overridden because then you lose progress. Thats just a guess tho.
