Axton's considered useless for solo OP 8 - or, more specifically, his turret is. At those levels, because of the way things scale, Axton can no longer sit back and watch the turret murder the world for him. On the other hand, he does decently enough if you build Axton up, rather than the turret.

Powerful Maya Build. So, I totally just found a really great synergy for a maya build. Using the Grog Nozzle from Dragon Keep, just use the Cloud Kill perk and max the Flicker perk. Maya is also a great character for end-game play as a lot of players have completed the Digistruct Peak challenge with her and reached OP10. Also she has an easy method of farming Haderax if you need Effervescent weapons. Salvador is also a great character for solo play and can be overpowered at the end-game levels.Anyway Maya is probably the most forgiving character in the game to build.
