Since everything g was oneshotting me since level one I didn't bother raising vigor past 20. Then I had 20 mind , 20 endurance ; 32 strength , 20 dex , 50 into and faith , and 20 arcane. For most bosses I used rotten breath and then used the sword of night and flame. Then once I got it I summoned mimic tear as distraction / free damage.

Not really its just for rune farm. Has its uses in 6man pvp where you can spam to aow into the back of people fighting for cheap kills. I use it only for its ash of war. As a regular weapon, I don't find its moveset particularly good, especially for pvp. The ash of war is also fantastic against practically every ash summon in the arena as well. Wgt. 10. Passive. I want to max the damage this weapon does ...It attracts Chi and is a good conductor for Chi (hence while holding it you gather Chi easier.) edit: Another explanation would be that the sacred sword itself is sealed with a lot of Chi and it serves as a energy storage.
