Remove mods bg3.
This is happening with literally all mods. I used to be able to remove certain mods fine before Patch 5 even on saves they'd been used in, now attempting the same thing on those same exact save files crashes the game. A lot of people are reporting this issue on Nexus. Currently no way around it, just have to keep the mods loaded for that save file.
This folder contains the saved games, configuration files and a level cache folder. Deleting or renaming it will get the game to recreate it on startup. If the game still has the same issues, delete the replacement BG3 folder and if you have any saves that you wish to keep, rename the original back again.
