Kinda new to game, just beat the game on elite difficulty and my go to build is just get enough defensive talent and defeaning mortar with talent which resets the fatal current and just face tank enemies with spamming the defeaning mortar n resetting the fatal current. Tao is ungodly broken. This new addition to the roster absolutely blows everyone out of the water by a landslide if she gets her optimal path rolling (which is also, quite sadly, very obvious). There is a talent that allows you to deal +4% damage and +2% lucky shot chance for every blade summoned for 8 seconds.

Melee doesn't have the fire rate to make the 12 hits needed. Its good for early in a run, but falls off very quickly. I would say that Melee doesn't really synergize the best with Tao. Of all the characters, Chicken synergizes the most with melee due to his up close and personal nature.
