Nov 21, 2022 · So I ended up calling E*trade today and there was a 30 min hold time which is ridiculous for a major brokerage. Their website states "Due to high inquiry volumes, wait times have been longer than usual." I've never had to wait more than 1-2 mins to speak to a Fidelity rep. Sounds like E*trade has major staff shortage issues at the moment.
