Nov 4, 2023 · XC40 Recharge faults. Just wondering if anyone else has had these faults on their XC40R. 1. Car stops without warning, multiple warning lights come on. Car is immobilised and "frozen". Unable to be turned off. Unable to be taken out of Park. Unable to be put into tow mode. Literally frozen.

Volvo XC40 Recharge Volvo C40 ...Nov 3, 2022 · When CarPlay finally arrived in the XC40/C40 Recharge models, I tried my older CarLinkit wireless CarPlay adapter I had used in my Volvo S60 (Sensus OS). It didn’t work in the Recharge. Since then, others have reported that none of the adapters worked, until recently, when a poster on another thread mentioned one that did work. XC40 MY23 colour - opinions. I had placed an order with the local dealer back in January for a MY22 XC40 T5 R-Design and I had settled on the Fusion Red with the black roof. Mar 3, 2024 · Brake Wiping. I'm just realizing this, but i think the XC40 does a brake "wipe". I think its been there for awhile and I'm just now noticing it, but at low speeds after the care has been sitting for awhile, it sounds like its braking with the pads and not OPD/motors. I've heard the rubbing sound many times before, but never put 2 and 2 together.

I recently traded my 2019 XC40 R-Design with 20" wheels for a 2021 XC40 R-Design with 18" wheels. The noise difference, and ride quality, are night and day. Granted I went from having 60,000 miles on my 2019 to a brand new 2021, but it is very noticeable how quiet the ride now is.
XC40 was launched in 2017 with software and major mechanical parts such as engine, gearbox, AWD, brakes and suspension taken from the 2015 XC90 and 2016 XC60. The 2.0 l engine with 8 speed auto Aisin gearbox was already a consumer tested and fine tuned drivetrain, so was the Sensus software.

Apr 8, 2022 · A/C not working. Our car was purchased 12/11/2021. We didn't have much opportunity to use the A/C until February and found it didn't work sometimes. People are saying that this has lots of stability improvements and some even report better range. Evidently, this update has to be installed by the dealer.
