Your specs should definitely be fine, I have played Rlcraft with Sildurs with much lower specs. (Also RLCraft is kind of beautiful even without Shaders lol Generally I at least allocate 4 to 8 gigs of RAM, usually for me it runs quite well (for me). It is absolutely fun with friends, this is the best torture you can subject them (and yourself) to. Download optifine 1.12.2 HD G5 (I think) Go to your files, go to the folder it downloaded into, press copy on it, go to your RLcraft mod folder (you can find this by tapping on the RLcraft profile in curse forge, tapping the 3 dots and pressing "open folder") go to the mods folder inside the RLcraft folder, place optifine into the mods folder ... You can use a compass to see which biome you are in!Once Optifine is in, find a shader you wanna use (I recommend Chocopic, Sildurs or SEUS those are my favorites) make sure the shader is compatible with 1.12.2. Download it, should be a .zip file, then install it into the RLCraft shaders folder. Shiv recommends 4gb lol, id not go above 8 if you must but it aint guaranteed to make your game run any better. Im having 32gigs as well and can assure you that 16gigs doesn't cause any problems.

Just make sure to go in your quark configs folder and set "Random animal textures" to "false" so you get to see your new textures, because the mod quark that is part of RlCraft overwrites most mob textures you put in the game with its own textures.
