LGTV Companion app I can't get the feature for it to work as a windows monitor typology for some reason. It can turn my tv on/off, but when I scan for it automatically it never shows up. If I manually add the IP of my TV and mac it works but limited. Very weird, C2 model and I did enable/disable the recommended settings on the tv.

Edit: went back to LG TV companion and having the same issue. Edit: after following the guide here and the guide for LG companion on github, what fixed it for me was switching from Device-IP to network broadcast address and back. When I switched back the TV prompted me to connect to mobile device.
