From what im told by people willing to waste time on testing and counting frames the medium and light roll take the same amount of time and cover the same distance but light rolls get their i frames 2 frames faster and last 2 frames longer. The result is that there's really no build that isn't going to end up with enough endurance to wear all but the heaviest of armor sets and still medium roll. They also should go back to having light equip weight allow you to run slightly faster. There just isn't enough benefit to justify the loss in damage absorption.
