Honestly my experience with the gameplay (while the microtransactions do suck) has still been fairly positive. DICE did a phenomenal job at making a solid Star Wars game. It's just the microtransactions that make me enjoy it less. If it all gets sorted out accordingly then I will be playing this for months to come.
Yes. Galactic Conquest is the most active and Co-Op too. Other modes are completely empty. I mean you can join but if you're unlucky then you'll have to wait 19 other players to join before the match can even start. From my experience North American region is the most active so go there. I can't believe more people aren't down voting the game considering it literally has no single player aspect and no one plays either 1 or 2 online.
