I called the airline directly (not Budgetair) to ask if it charges any fees to Budgetair for my cancellation less than 12H after booking and it confirmed it doesn't charge any fees. Budgetair failed to inform us that her flight wasn’t booked which meant we had to fly separately to Africa, which was 3 flights, and pay a massive premium at the airport.
