It's a 1970 model M35A2 deuce and a half with a multifuel engine. Anyone have experience with these, especially giving them more power. Can't really find anything very descriptive …Although the standard M35 cargo truck is rated to carry 5,000 pounds off-road or 10,000 pounds on-road, the Deuce and a Half has been known to dispatch loads that are twice that rating. That is two CVCU's in shear weight. I think the bobber would be a better "ultimate off-road recovery vehicle". You will be able to pull alot more out with it. My uncle has one of these and it's awesome yet horrible to drive. We took it to Caffeine & Octane here in Atlanta and had to drive it on the highway for like 40 miles. I just sold 4 of the 6 I had there were a couple that were kind of rough and 2 that were pretty nice, and I sold them for anywhere from $1800-$2500. there is a ton of info at www.steelsoldiers.com.
