Plus, forget the extra storage space, the auto increased rep with each trader, and the insane starting gear compared to every other version. If you play the game more than casually, eod is 100% worth it.
Unless you really enjoy grind and pain, get the EOD. Keep in mind you'll get future expansions free as an added perk. The extra space and starting equipment is really nice … You will be stressed and tested to an extreme extent. For the 12 months it will likely take to finish, EOD school is your life. You'll be expected to apply lessons learned from day 1 weeks or even months later. There's little you can study to prepare for it, all comes down to your own mental toughness and fortitude.

Arena alone cost $35. The EOD version of tarkov is $40 more than the next tier below that for EFT.
