We did not have any freezing rain overnight, barely had a dusting of snow. No ice on the windshield, just a little snow. Both of my power sliding doors were frozen shut!

Try undoing each of the 3 bolts at the back of the door, squirt generous amount of lubrication and try open/closing and reset. IF the issue comes back, then you will have to pull the latch out, test the switches and see if any of the 2 replaceable switches are bad or need to be more accurate in squirting lubrication. In regard to getting the clip off of the inside door handle. Take a strip of cloth, slide the cloth in from the top of the handle. Pulling down on both ends, slide the cloth back and forth will pulling downward on the ends.
