Jul 29, 2016 · Both transmissions were pretty darned tough, but today the newest are 44 years old. I have 2 syncros and 1 power shift (4020s), plus a 2510, 3020, 4320. As far as sales data goes, it is sort of a guess. It would be a fair guess to say in the earlier years, (64-68) the 4020 sales were probably 35-40% power shift. Coyote Flats,Tx. Tractor. If the sump screen was "completely plugged" you need to pull the final drives, repair the brakes and clean the rear end housing out and THEN start to sort out your hydraulic problems.
