Staccato p magwell.

Anyone find no magwell on the P more comfortable? I took the magwell off my Staccato P to make it a little thinner for carry, and I noticed the grip feels a lot more comfortable without the magwell protruding at the bottom. Anyone else notice this? I don’t really even see much of a difference with reloads either.I wanted to remove the magwell from my STI tactical to have less bulk for carry and needed a shorter pin. Posted October 18, 2010. Take the slide off, ease the hammer forward, push the mainspring housing retaining pin out slowly. When The pin comes out, try holding the mainspring housing in place as best you can. That keeps the sear spring from getting dislodged and also keeps the firing pin strut on the mainspring cap.

Staccato Disassembly Question. Considering a Staccato P. I have lots of 1911s and have fully disassembled to do things such as alter trigger pull weight etc. Never had an issue with assembly. So I have heard you cannot take apart the Staccato lower end such as hammer. disconnector, sear spring etc or you void your warranty.
