The largest drives, currently 18 & 20TB always carry a premium cost. 14TB is currently the sweet spot and 16TB may be next. Best price per TB has been ~$15/TB for years and will probably remain there for a while. Anything, natural, like the Thailand food or man-made, like Chia can cause drive prices to rise.I am hesitant to try yet another personal wiki/data management solution, but Silver Bullet does look nice. I'm pretty happy with Obsidian at the moment, and backups for it are pretty easy. It's kind of a pain to sync with my phone, and I think their paid service cost for that functionality is outrageously expensive, so I'm not doing that.

This Integrity Stream stuff is something that DrivePool can't correct for like Storage Spaces can. ie: if two drives contain a copy of some data, and that data returns bad on one of the drives, Stablebit won't automatically repair the pool by copying good data to the drive with bad data.
