Apr 9, 2023 · Part of me hates having to play a new Zelda on this hardware, but it is what it is. Playing it at 60fps on the next console would've been incredible. I am curious just how well emulators will run this at launch, people playing it on PC will have a significantly better experience than the 720p/30fps I'm in for.

Dec 25, 2018 · Yeah, Zelda 1 you had to approach in somewhat of a systematic way. Explore the grid and commit it to memory. Bomb every wall, burn every bush, push every block. Even in the later games, if you don't have at least somewhat of an analytical mind then you'll probably hit a dead end, but just pure experimentation helps too.

Whereas I haven’t played a single one of the traditional 2D Zeldas that isn’t incredible. Zelda 2 is bad too but whilst it is 2D, it doesn’t follow the same format as most 2D Zeldas. Not all staff worked on BotW for all 4 years, a lot of the Zelda team was working on ALBW before BotW. For sure Zelda especially has routinely shown off things that never saw the light of day in the final game.
