Longsword and Shield are pretty iconic knight weapons, plus the longsword is one of the best weapons in the game. 1.Another very solid option is a health and stamina build built around (eventually) a Raw Santier's Spear. Since it has no scaling you can dump the bulk of your levels into VGR, END and have plenty of ADP. Realistically whatever your build you're going to want 20 VGR as soon as convenient and will want to target 50 VGR.

Speedrunners get the minimum stats to wield it, then infuse and buff it with dark. They use the normal Rapier, but an Ice Rapier is almost certainly more effective for that strategy. They just don't want to waste time getting one and upgrading it is all. Don't forget an accompanying "Dark" or "Resonant" weapon buff for big, big damage. 1. Lightning. Thundering its way to number one, we've got lightning. Lightning is considered the best (at least by me) infusion in the game, just because sooo many enemies and bosses are weak to it, and barely any resistant.

Get endurance to 20 for softcap of stamina and then level vigor for faster regen because it increases stam regen. Keep under 40% equip load for best effect or under 30 for best imo.
