Seraphor 7 years ago #2. Shikari and Knight are typically touted as the best tanking classes, both have access to shields with shield blocks, which decent HP. As for the job names, they were changed to better reflect the roles of the classes, which aren't strictly the same as the classic jobs that they're similar too. Uhlan.
Oct 11, 2019 · Here is my take on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age’s JOB SYSTEM and what I believe the best Job Combos for each Character are. VAAN. HP: Very High. MP: Average. STRENGTH: Very High/Highest. MAGICK POWER: High. VITALITY: Very High. SPEED: Very High. JOBS: Bushi/Knight; Bushi/Uhlan; Bushi/ (any Heavy Armor Job) Machinist go well with: 1. White Mage: gives him 3x swiftness, lots of HP, TM 8-10 with Esper, can use boosted Dark Shot, and overall decent dmg in those moments when your WM is not healing/buffing. 2. Red Battlemage: again similar like with WM, also RBM have TM 1-3 so with Machinist you almost have another TBM. 3. Zodiac Age is based on Final Fantasy XII: International Zodiac Job System. This Japan-only version of the game introduced a job system to FF XII. Early in the game, you pick from one of 12 license boards, at which point you are locked into a job for the rest of the game. New to Zodiac Age is the ability to choose a second job.
