When will Flame of the Redmanes be nerfed. 1-2 hit stunning every enemy, 3 for bosses while also doing solid damage, about the same aoe as hoarfrost stomp. It's got maybe 3 weeks tops before it gets nerfed. It really doesn't need a nerf, not for PVP anyway. The posture damage does need nerfing for PVE tho.

yup. redmanes and fallingstar beast jaw were ranged spam to win crit machines. its not that redmanes isnt viable - its a great source of ranged damage that can be put on a wide variety of weapons, including stuff like hammers, that often dont have many options for good offensive longer range ashes of war. its that you cant just spam redmanes(or beast jaw) from range for easy crits anymore

Adding flame of the redmanes can stagger almost all enemies in 2 or 3 hits which can be used on a high critical weapon like the rapier or misericorde for high damage. I prefer also using a shield with the carian retaliation or golden parry AoW if you prefer parrying. Add the assassin HP and FP dagger talismans and you are pretty much OP as hell.

Yes from 40 posture damage to 10. Yeah it got nerfed pretty bad. Honestly wasn’t a fan of people using the flame of the Redmane as a crutch, because of how broken it was and how it made people too to dependent on it. It was crazy just how many people were mad at this nerf and saying how bad they’re struggling now.It's still too early to say for sure but with limited experiments that I've done so far, especially in light that Flame of the Redmanes has been nerfed until unusable to break stance, great weapons with Cragblade is the best option if you wanna break stance frequently.
