The sliding door stopped working and the slide door light came on. I took the car to the dealer where they noticed damage to the rubber covering and the sensor wires that run right along the door edge.
Normal battery drain actually depends. You have to let the vehicle sit for at least 30 minutes with everything off, doors closed, etc. Then check the draw. Most cars should be 50mA or less. I have a 2006 Odyssey touring and when I close the passenger sliding door there is a constant beeping as if the door is not closed properly. Putting it in manual mode, I found that the door has a lot of extra drag, probably beyond the threshold of the pinch sensor's sensitivity.

However, the power door master switch (above the left and right switches) needs to be turned off for it to reset when the #13 fuse is pulled.
