Jeep wrangler limp mode reset.
The first trip to the shop this time identified the wrong oil filter as the problem, mine did not have a check valve built in. The filter (and oil) was changed and the first climb up a highway grade, the code reset and the engine went into limp mode. Next trip to the shop had the oil changed and a new filter (again).

All of the gauges read normal and there is no check engine light coming on. It almost sounds like the ECU is triggering limp mode on the Jeep, but I would expect that to be accompanied by a check engine or other warning.
I went to Canadian Tire and purchased a Jeep recommended coolant and topped it up. This was unsuccessful at solving the issue. I checked the engine code and got code P0344. I looked up the code on the internet and found that it was a Cam Position Sensor that was the likely culprit of the issue.The Jeep keeps going into Limp mode. We have run the codes and done the following: Replaced PCM. Replaced cam shaft position sensor with OEM sensor twice. Replaced OPDA. Put the Jeep back in time. Checked entire wiring system and fixed any places that were damaged.It's currently in limp mode with codes P0108 and P1297. The IAC, TPS and MAP have all been changed. The fuel pump has 50psi. I also tried swapping the transmission relay with the other one in the box (powertrain relay?), the car started just fine.I have a hard time understanding how the Jeep would go into limp mode. The only way that the ECM would know that it's not traveling at the same speed is if the vehicle navigation system checked back to the speedometer. Otherwise the Jeep would simply think that it was traveling at a slower rate than it really was.
