The sad truth is that Sturgia are just gimped in bannerlord. Regulat Infantry: Way below average. Lose out to everyone outside hired blades and some vlandian infantry. Axemen are better than their spearman but not by a lot. Shock Infantry: Also way below average. Worse than the Vlandian, Imperial and Battanian equivalents.The majority of imperial infantry units have a single use, low damage throwing spear. It can't really be considered in the same category as other throwing weapons. Battania is your best option OP.
