Honda accord whining noise when accelerating.
I have a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L Sedan, and a few days I heard a "clink" noise come from the front of the car. Every since then, my engine is making a whining noise when I accelerate. I am still under the 5-year/60,000 mile manufacturer warranty, but the dealer wants $120 to diagnose the issue (and will refund it if they actually find one).
Mileage is 27k. Usually happens when you suddenly step on the gas around 1800-3000 rpm, beyond that rpm noise goes away. Usually on 80-90s fahrenheit. Sounds like a worn cv axle to me. A friend of mine has an older accord with twice the mileage, and at has a bad vibration only while accelerating, and its worse around 55-60mph. It also clicks and pops a lot while making a turn out of a parking lot. It's been like that for a couple years now.
