There is a shift clutch adjustment you can check, (search for service manual) but if that doesn't fix it you will need to crack the case to see what's going on in there. Good luck! 2021 Rubicon dct shifting problems solved. Back story. Purchased my 2021 Rubicon brand new from the dealer. Almost immediately it started having shifting issues, flashing gear indicator. I told the dealer the issue and they had a look and said nothing is wrong. Turns out it had the software defect and the shift fork got damaged.
