Jul 25, 2011 · New Member. Jul 25, 2011. #1. I have a 2011 GTS and I received a P0340 fault code and the PWC will no longer start. It just stopped and didn't appear to suck anything into the intake. I already dropped it off at service but was hoping someone on the forum may have already had a similar issue and could tell me what the code means.

To get the thing to shut up I left the fuses out. On the gauge panel it says "check engine - P 1656" which is the trouble code for a short. My best guess it the actual DESS key plug on the ski (not the lanyard key) is faulty. I traced all of the wires and did not find any bad connections, water or corrosion. Can anybody step me through how to troubleshoot a bad knock sensor on a 2008 seadoo rxp?Same happened to me just yesterday. Out for a couple of hours with no problems, for the first run of the year, took an hour break, and went back out. P1130 popped 10 minutes later. Droped it at the dealer today. It's a 2016 203 vr, i purchased used, last summer, with 60 hours on it. I'll be back with the resolution later. C.I researched it and people where saying the code was because they programmed the boat ECU to perform as the supercharged model. The U1301 Fault Code is for the supercharger overheating. What is happening is the ECU runs the check and scans for the part that would respond to the signal and since I don't have the SC model, just the twin 155's ...The Handlebars are plastic and are cracking or breaking in half on a few of the Sparks. The plastic wear rings shatter when a rock comes through the pump, even a small piece of wood will crack it. Shows code P1656 on both machines. Premium Member. Apr 16, 2011. #2. The EIN = Engine identification number, is on a plate on the magnito houseing. It also states the CC id, like 657,717,787, ect. The HIN = Hull identification is on a plastic engraved plate on the rear of the pwc. The hin & barcode is on a paper/plastic wrap. tag in the front of the ski under the gas tank.

Repair manual says 3 things can cause it, low oil, exhaust overheat and engine overheat. I checked the oil and it's fine.The code was P0264. P0264 - #2 injector short to ground or open circuit. I performed the following checks. Checked ohms on the injector - 12.9 (just like cylinder 1 injector) Checked the incoming voltage to the injector - found 12V. Swapped Injector 1 with injector 2.
