I suggest prioritizing those two first or else you'll have a hard time against Grineer and Infested Ancients. Having elemental mods like Cryo Rounds and Hellfire will make killing enemies easier so I recommend you don't skip out on those too.The gorgon on the other hand is just a brutal destructive monster in the area anywhere between short and mid range. It generally isn't as strong long range but it has enough bullets and enough of a damage output to just hose anything at range as well. Overall I'd say gorgon > Braton but I pesonally prefer the braton's agility.

Posted April 25, 2013. it depends on if you want to deal high damage in a fast amount of time then you'd need: Fire Rate + Armour Piercing + Elemental damage (namely Freeze to slow them down) + Normal damage with Reload speed. also Crit Chance and Crit Damage is always good for fast amount of damage.

The Gorgon is a spooling weapon, which I'm not a fan of, and it just sucks at long range, which I enjoy shooting from. It also takes forever to reload. The components, however, are easy to farm. The Grakata is nice as it doesn't spool and has a faster fire rate, but it needs neurodes, which are HELL to farm. So I'm torn between the two.

If you still want to continue, just place 4 90's Elementals, Serration, Split Chamber, Shred, then a utility mod of choice.
